EF Adventures is tapping into one of travel’s fastest-growing segments with the launch of its first dedicated solo departures. Unlike traditional departures that mix couples, friends and independent travelers, the new departures are exclusively for guests traveling on their own.
Each traveler receives a private room while enjoying the same expert-led itineraries that are part of the EF Adventures portfolio.
EF Adventures’ Solo Tours
The tour operator’s 8-day Spain Biking for Solo Travelers: Island of Mallorca itinerary takes cyclists along some of Mallorca’s most celebrated routes, including Cap de Formentor, the Tramuntana mountain range and the iconic Sa Calobra climb. Groups are limited to 16 travelers, and e-bikes are available.
For walkers, the 11-day Spain & Portugal Hiking for Solo Travelers: Camino de Santiago itinerary combines sections of the Camino Francés, Camino del Norte and Camino Portugues. The journey includes hikes through the Picos de Europa mountains and culminates in Santiago de Compostela, complemented by local culinary experiences such as Basque pintxos tastings.
All departures include private accommodations, guided activities, most meals and the services of tour directors. Flights and travel insurance are available at an additional cost.
The solo departures are now open for booking, signaling EF Adventures’ latest effort to align its product mix with shifting traveler preferences and the continued rise of experience-led, independent travel.
