Delta Air Lines is continuing to invest in the premium travel experience at Los Angeles International Airport with the opening of Phase 1 of its second Delta One Lounge, marking another step in the carrier’s long-term expansion at its West Coast hub.

Located on the Mezzanine level of Terminal 2, the new 4,000-sq.-ft. Delta One Lounge offers seating for 75 guests and features elevated dining, premium amenities and a seamless airport experience designed exclusively for Delta One travelers. Phase 2 of the lounge renovation is slated for completion in 2028.

The expansion is part of a broader investment that will see Delta operate four lounge spaces at LAX by 2028, totaling approximately 60,000 sq. ft. As part of that plan, the airline will also debut an 11,000-sq.-ft. Delta Sky Club in Terminal 2 in 2027.

“This investment remains congruent to our strategy of elevating the premium experience both at LAX and across our global network,” said Megan Humphreys, VP of Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience, in a media statement. “With demand for premium travel continuing to rise and our global footprint expanding, we’re thoughtfully looking at every square foot we have—designing every detail with intention and to align with the Delta One experience our customers deserve.”

The lounge expansion coincides with Delta’s continued network growth at LAX, including new nonstop service to Hong Kong and Chicago O’Hare, with Vancouver and Newark joining the route map in late 2026 and early 2027, respectively.
