Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours is offering a new itinerary shaped around America250 — the special The Chairman’s Voyage: America’s 250th Anniversary Cruise aboard Scenic Eclipse, which is designed to immerse guests in the people, places and events that shaped the United States.
Departing Oct. 5, 2026, the 11-night sailing follows America’s eastern seaboard from New York City to Nassau, visiting a series of ports closely tied to the nation’s history during its 250th anniversary year.
An Itinerary Sailing Through America’s Past
Hosted by Scenic Group Founder and Chairman Glen Moroney, the sailing offers guests the opportunity to travel alongside the entrepreneur who built Scenic while exploring destinations that played defining roles in the country’s evolution.
Rather than centering on a single anniversary celebration, the itinerary connects travelers with multiple chapters of American history. Calls include Baltimore, Yorktown, Wilmington, Charleston, Miami, Key West and Nassau.
The cruise stops at Yorktown, site of the decisive battle that secured American independence, and Charleston, whose preserved architecture and maritime heritage offer insight into the nation’s colonial past.
Onboard, guests will experience the ship’s all-verandah suites, which include personalized butler service, as well as multiple specialty dining venues and a wellness program. The sailing also provides an opportunity for guests to engage directly with Moroney throughout the journey, offering a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on Scenic’s evolution and the company’s approach to luxury expedition and discovery travel.
