Princess Cruises is giving travelers a way to swap snow and cold weather for sunshine this holiday season with festive sailings across Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico and the Panama Canal.
The cruise line is offering a mix of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s voyages for travelers looking to celebrate the holidays at sea, with 2026 departures still available and 2027 holiday cruises now open for booking.
Holiday Cruises Head to the Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaii
Travelers still have several holiday-season options to consider, including warm-weather itineraries that combine traditional celebrations with destination-focused cruising.
Among the sailings are the 7-Day Mexican Riviera aboard Discovery Princess, departing roundtrip from Los Angeles Nov. 21-28, 2026.
For a longer holiday escape, Caribbean Princess will sail a 12-day Panama Canal itinerary with Costa Rica and the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale Dec. 17-29. Regal Princess will also offer a 6-day Eastern Caribbean cruise, sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale Dec. 20-26.
Travelers looking to extend the holiday season into the new year can book Ruby Princess’ 16-Day Hawaiian Islands Holiday, departing roundtrip from San Francisco Dec. 26, 2026, and returning Jan. 11, 2027.
Princess Brings Holiday Traditions Onboard
Princess Cruises is decorating its fleet with sparkling trees, garlands, lights and festive floral arrangements.
Holiday programming varies by ship. Sphere Class and Royal Class vessels will feature a Tree Lighting Celebration with full-cast performances, while other ships will offer a more intimate Festive Tree Lighting with vocalists.
The line is also adding plenty of activities designed to bring families and multigenerational groups together. Depending on the ship, programming can include Merry Moments and “Let it Snow” experiences, with snow falling in the Piazza; Holly Jolly Sweater Parties with holiday music and silent-disco events; and Festive Family Faire, featuring arts and crafts and a holiday family flair night.
Other seasonal activities include gingerbread-house making, holiday storytime with Stanley, festive singalongs, candlelight concerts and showings of favorite holiday movies through Movies Under the Stars and in staterooms.
Festive Food and Holiday Celebrations at Sea
Princess is also bringing the holidays to the dining experience, with special menus and demonstrations focused on seasonal favorites. Guests may find turkey-carving demonstrations, holiday cookie activities, festive cocktails and hot chocolate stations across the fleet.
Princess will also offer inclusive religious observances during the holiday season.
