Connecting Asia and North America
EVA Air and Southwest Airlines have a new interline agreement, effective Aug. 26, 2025, that enhances connectivity between Asia and North America, linking EVA Air’s network with Southwest’s extensive U.S. routes through four key gateway cities: Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA) and Chicago (ORD).
The collaboration streamlines travel logistics, allowing you to book your clients on single itineraries across both carriers. This includes coordinated ticketing and through-checked baggage service to final destinations. Travelers receive all boarding passes at their first departure point, simplifying connections.
EVA Air currently operates 89 weekly flights to major North American cities, the highest frequency among Taiwanese carriers in the region. This number is set to increase to 94 by year-end. The partnership with Southwest expands access to over 30 additional U.S. destinations, including Denver, Las Vegas, Nashville, Tampa and Baltimore.
It’s Nice Nonstop With Delta
Delta is unlocking more of Europe for New England next spring, adding two nonstop routes from Boston: Madrid (MAD) launching May 16 and Nice (NCE) launching May 17.
With these additions, Delta will now serve 12 European destinations from Boston, offering travelers unrivaled global coverage and more ways to connect across the Continent. Delta’s new 2026 flights include daily service to Madrid and three-times-weekly flights to Nice on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, plus convenient connections across Europe to match.
Further enhancing this network, Delta’s expanded service to Barcelona and Milan adds even more options for Boston travelers. Daily flights to Barcelona begin May 7, and four-times-weekly service to Milan starts May 16, both launching earlier than in past years to better align with seasonal demand and provide greater flexibility.
These additions build on Boston’s role as a premier global gateway in Delta’s network. In the span of two decades, Delta has nearly tripled its service in Boston, growing from 25 to approximately 70 destinations worldwide. Together with its partners, Delta now connects Boston to four continents, offering about 20 daily international flights.
