Wellness in the Maldives is a many splendored thing. (Photo by Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa)

It could be argued that the entirety of the Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa was created with wellness in mind, what with its white sand beaches, calm lagoon and a spa that is an entire island unto itself. However, the resort went one step further and created the new Escape to Serenity package, focusing on couples or friends to help bring down their blood pressure while they stay and play in paradise.

This wellness package is for two and includes daily breakfast and a private dinner for two, sunset fishing or a dolphin-spotting cruise, plus 15 percent off non-suite rooms. Note that reservations must be made at least 21 days in advance, the package also requires a 4-night minimum stay and is valid through September 30, 2023.

Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa has 11 bungalows, including the Deluxe Beach Pavilion with Pool, with direct beach access, and the Sunrise Water Villa with Pool, with over-lagoon hammocks and an infinity pool; and 5 specialty suites including the Two-Bedroom Royal Beach Villa and the Sunset Two-Bedroom Water Suite, with an extended deck and private pool. The Island Spa is, as we mentioned, an entire island dedicated to the notion of wellness, with private overwater treatment pavilions, among other jaw-dropping offers. There are several dining options at this Four Seasons, among them Maldivian BBQ on Secret Beach, Indian dishes at Baraabaru, Mediterranean at the Reef Club and cocktails at the Sunset Lounge.

Park Royal Collection Introduces Eco-Wellness to the Mix

Park Royal Collection Hotels & Resorts has launched an Eco-Wellness program for guests, which aligns with the brand’s biophilic design of its hotels and its commitment to sustainability and well-being.

For example, the “restful sleep” portion includes a new Sleep Ritual turndown service with fresh herbs (thyme, bergamot lime, mint and rosemary) freshly picked from the hotel’s Urban Farm, which your clients can rub gently to release therapeutic fragrance and/or brew into a tea. This and other sleep-related goodies are available for clients staying in Collection Club Rooms and higher categories, as well as Titanium and Platinum Members of Pan Pacific Discovery.

This is just the tip of the proverbial green iceberg and highlights a small part of how the company is integrating its new Urban Farms at Park Royal Collection Pickering in Singapore and Park Royal Collection Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Park Royal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore, already supplied up to 20 percent of its produce and herbs from its own Urban Farm. Each hotel will now have unique farm-to-table, farm-to-bar and farm-to-spa experiences on tap.
