Uzbekistan and the countries that surround it are shrouded in a veil of mystery. Frequently referred to as the “Land of the Sun,” this is a country with a very colorful and distinct culture. It was on the Great Silk Road, where not only the exchange of goods took place, but also the exchange of culture, language, ideas, and religions. Here you will be awed by exquisite Islamic architecture, silk handicrafts, and the Aral Sea.

That veil can be lifted this October with a Central Asia FAM tour that will take you to Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand, Uzbekistan; Bishkek, Cholpon and Karakol, Kyrgyzstan; and Almaty and Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

Samarkand
Samarkand is waiting for you to discover in October.

This FAM is $2,200 per person, dbl, land-only and departs on Oct. 30, 2019, with a return date set for Nov. 16. The trip can be split into Uzbekistan only for $890 and Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan for $1,310. That fee includes hotel accommodations, all meals, alcoholic beverages with some dinners, sightseeing with English-speaking guides, ground transportation, and transfers. It is possible to bring a companion for that same rate, and in addition, the single supplement is $705.

It is sponsored by Uzbekistan Adventures. For more information on Uzbekistan, click here, and for more information about the FAM, e-mail [email protected].
