Your clients will be stoked to hear about The Twin Fin Hotel, the newest property to hit the Diamond Head side of Waikiki Beach.

Formerly known as the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, The Twin Fin will open in November 2022 following a multi-million-dollar renovation. The resort is family-friendly and close to attractions including the Honolulu Zoo (a 5-minute walk away) and the Waikiki Aquarium (a 10-minute walk away).

Long-time surfers might recognize the name of the hotel: it’s a 70s-style surfboard with two fins that was made for mellow cruising that’s trending again today. The updated guestrooms have views of Waikiki Beach and cool touches including custom-printed surf ponchos for guests and a custom Twin Fin-branded phone mount from Tentikle they can use for the duration of their stay.

Other updates include new staff uniforms designed by Hawaii-based Throwback League, six new cabanas for the pool deck, pool service and a rotating series of DJs and musicians. Additional programming includes talk story sessions, star gazing activities, vinyl nights and more. Activity rental credits for Waikiki Beach Candy are included in the resort amenity fee, and redeemable for water sport rentals, such as surfboards, umbrellas, paddleboards and beach chairs.

Get your clients on board by letting them know The Twin Fin has partnered with Surfline to install 3 HD cameras that will stream real-time surf conditions on a large-scale video wall in the lobby and other locations throughout the hotel. They will also be stoked to know they will receive a Surfline Premium membership discount after their stay.

Artist collective POW! WOW! will create custom murals, activations and Instagram-friendly opportunities throughout the hotel, including a surfboard installation at the hotel entrance. Six surfboards will be painted by three Hawaii-based artists with an ocean theme.

Rates start at $239 per night.
