The trip starts with a one-day stopover in London with a private tour of the city. That evening, you will fly to Sri Lanka. The first night in Sri Lanka will be spent in Negombo, a small fishing village on the west coast of the island. Then it’s off to Dambulla where a highlight will be a visit of Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. That evening will feature a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, known for its herds of wild elephants.
Next on the agenda is Sigiriya and its ancient fortress. That evening features a Hiriwaduna village tour. The next day it’s off to Polonnruwa, the second capital of the Sri Lankan kingdom. Overnight in Pasikuda, a popular costal town. Next on the agenda is Kandy, the cultural and hill capital of the island. Then it’s time to head to Nuwara Eliya and finally Colombo.
