Virtuoso drops Trump Hotels from portfolio.

Trump Hotels were dropped from Virtuoso, CNN has reported.

“Trump Hotels are no longer part of the Virtuoso network,” Misty Belles, head of Virtuoso’s public relations department, told The Washington Post.

The change, which took effect on March 8, 2021, means that Virtuoso will no longer offer Trump properties to their clients. In addition, the properties will no longer be listed on Virtuoso’s website. The change will affect at least six Trump properties.

According to The Washington Post, Belles said the company considers many variables when reviewing both existing and new network participation. “Out of respect for all involved parties, and as a general policy, we do not share comments regarding our non-renewal and exit decisions,” she told them.

Though Virtuoso agents can still book their clients to Trump properties, they will no longer receive the perks that come with having a direct relationship with the brand. Booking perks would include previously negotiated benefits for travelers.
