The Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau, a new beachfront resort in the Bahamas’ capital, is opening in June with 155 rooms. This casual-luxe property features an array of entertainment options and is a short walk to historic downtown Nassau.

Other highlights include Fins Up! Water Park featuring slides, a lazy river, climbing wall, dive pool, and grotto and a FlowRider surf machine; a high-tech entertainment complex including virtual-reality sports, karaoke, bowling, billiards, and a private movie theater; and a white sand beach with loungers, private cabanas, and full beach service. A modern 45-slip full-service, deep-water marina can accommodate 150-foot yachts. Other highlights include the St. Somewhere Spa and the Parakeets Kid’s Club.

There are 11 signature food & beverage concepts including a two-story waterfront restaurant and lounge; rooftop cigar lounge; French bakery; pool bars; and the upscale JWB Prime Steak and Seafood. It wouldn’t be Margaritaville without a few spots to get that frozen concoction and options include Changes in Latitude, 12 Volt Bar, and SOS Bar.

Nassau itself offers miles upon miles of powdery white sand beaches and 300 days of sunshine a year.
