Goldwynn Edge Suite, Goldwynn Resort & Residences

Fans of The Bahamas and luxury travel are in luck with the official opening of Goldwynn Resort & Residences on the famed Cable Beach. The only Bahamian member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which is a good calling card to have when it comes to bookings.

The new resort is touting a new era it calls the “Riviera Bahama” style of travel, making reference to its intimate size, mid-century modern architecture and a nostalgic charm that harks back to an era of upper-echelon hospitality and white-linen-by-the-beach luxury. Only 15 minutes from the Linden Pindling International Airport and ten minutes from downtown Nassau, the hotel has only 81 residential-style accommodations across studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites, plus three extra-ample Edge Suites and the three-bedroom Goldwynn Suite for your most demanding clients—at nearly 2,000 sq. ft., it has three balconies, two terraces and unobstructed ocean views. All studios and suites have full kitchens or kitchenettes—a plus for traveling families—private balconies and a view of the ocean or the golf course.

Your clients will enjoy the onsite restaurants with elevated menus, poolside cabanas with butler services and the Rhizophora Spa with three treatment rooms, salon services and an outdoor cabana to enjoy the view of one of The Bahamas’ best beaches.

Next in hotel news, JW Mariott Masai Mara Lodge in southwestern Kenya is open for bookings and ready to welcome your adventurous clients on April 1, 2023. The luxury resort revolves around wellness and mindfulness, with 20 private tents that include a honeymoon tented suite with a private plunge pool and two interconnected canopied suites, ideal for groups of friends or family. The latter has a private terrace each and a jacuzzi overlooking the Mara plains and the river. Keep in mind that this is the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the country’s premier wildlife conservation areas, so there is every possibility that your clients will be able to observe the “Big Five” and take home incredible images of lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. And if you book them between June and September, they will be privy to the massive annual wildebeest migration, when more than 10 million animals move 1,800 miles from the Serengeti in Tanzania.

The lodge also has a restaurant, lounge and bar, a JW garden, swimming pool, spa and a large outdoor terrace and fire pit area for evening gatherings.
