Travel advisors seeking firsthand destination knowledge in Southeast Asia can take part in a guided Thailand study tour designed to showcase the country’s cultural highlights, key tourism hubs and on-the-ground logistics.
The Thailand study tour begins with international departure from the U.S., followed by arrival in Bangkok for a three-night stay at a deluxe hotel with daily breakfast included. A guided half-day city tour highlights major landmarks such as the Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew) and Wat Pho.
Another half-day excursion visits the Maeklong Railway Market and a traditional floating market, including a long-tail boat ride. Evenings in Bangkok are left at leisure. The itinerary then continues to Chiang Mai, where advisors spend three nights at a deluxe hotel with daily breakfast.
Experiences include a half-day elephant safari with lunch, followed by a visit to Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s sacred mountain temple and a handicraft village tour. Time is also built in for independent exploration, including Chiang Mai’s Night Market.
Days and scheduled events may vary due to operational considerations. Group size is limited to six participants.
Pricing and Eligibility
The travel advisor rate is $1,097 per person, double occupancy. A non-travel agent companion may join for an additional $148. Bangkok–Chiang Mai one-way airfare is $189 per person, with a $132 peak season surcharge (October through March).
A single supplement of $376 applies. International airfare from North America is not included. No visa is required for U.S. travelers.
