African Travel Inc. is offering travel advisors the opportunity to participate in two agent FAMs. One of the FAMs, South Africa Safari Educational will take place Nov. 6-14, 2019, while the other, a FAM is to Rwanda (more information to come).
The South Africa Safari Educational will take first time visitors to South Africa on an introductory trip designed to give you the tools and knowledge to sell South Africa. On this itinerary agents will visit Johannesburg and Cape Town, while also experiencing Kruger National Park, where agents will go on a game drive and stay at Thronybush Waterside Lodge.
While in Johannesburg, advisors will stay at the Peermont D’Oreal Grande, and in Cape Town accommodations will be at the Belmond Mount Nelson. Other highlights include a visit to the Cape Winelands for lunch and wine tasting, a full day excursion to the Cape Peninsula, a boat ride to see the Cape Fur seal colony in the fishing village of Hout Bay, a visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, and a cable car ride up to the summit of Table Mountain, where advisors will enjoy views of the city.
Rates for the South Africa Safari Educational are $2,995 ppl for land and air. Rates include roundtrip economy international flights on South African Airways from JFK, as well as all internal flights, six nights of accommodations on a share basis, tours, most meals, site inspections, transfers, and park fees. However, companions are not allowed on this FAM with advisors. The deadline to apply is July 8, 2019, and the final payment must be received by Aug. 5, 2019.
