FAMTrips.travel, in partnership with Liberty East Africa Safaris, is hosting an 8-day safari FAM showcasing Kenya’s vibrant landscapes—from the lush Afro-Alpine scenery of Aberdare National Park to the rugged beauty of the northern Samburu district. Travel advisors will also explore the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park, home to the world’s largest population of endangered black rhinos.

Safaris, Wildlife and Game Drives
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi—Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests will be greeted by Liberty Africa Safaris. Optional tours are available, including visits to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Center, the Karen Blixen Museum and the Kazuri Beads Factory.
Day 2: Into the Aberdare Mountains—After breakfast, depart for Aberdare National Park before heading to The Ark Lodge, a unique, timbered retreat surrounded by a private waterhole. The Ark offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, with elephants and other animals frequenting the waterhole.
Day 3: North to Samburu—Head to Sarova Shaba Game Lodge in the scenic Samburu region. Spend the afternoon discovering the area’s distinctive wildlife, including elephants and lions, and enjoy dinner at the lodge’s Surpelei Restaurant.
Day 4: Safari in Shaba—Home to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and rare species, Shaba is a key site in Kenya’s conservation efforts.
Day 5: Journey to Lake Nakuru—Enjoy lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge before an afternoon game drive through the park, known for its diverse wildlife, including rhinos, buffalo, lions and leopards.
Day 6: To the Masai Mara—Drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, renowned for its annual wildebeest migration and exceptional wildlife viewing.
Day 7: Safari in the Mara—Spend the full day on safari in the Masai Mara. Optional hot air balloon safaris (at additional cost) are available.
Day 8: Return to Nairobi—Drive back to Nairobi or opt for a scenic flight from the Mara to Nairobi (additional cost).
