Explore Morocco on a FAM with FAMTrips.travel and Cherg Expeditions for a 10-night itinerary In the Kingdom of Morocco itinerary.

The trip starts in Casablanca where you can opt to relax at the Hotel Radisson Blu Casablanca or head to Rick’s Cafe and Restaurant to enjoy some music and get a bite to eat, then head back to the hotel for a welcome reception and tapas.

Next, you’ll head through Rabat, the financial capital that showcases the country’s Islamic and French colonial heritage. After exploring the old town of Oudayas and Kasbah Oudaya, you’ll visit the Hassan Tower and Mohamed V Mausoleum. Then you’ll head to Kenitra for lunch and continue to the “blue city” of Chefchaouen—a village in the middle of the Rif Mountains, recognized as one of the 50 most beautiful places in the world. In Chefchaouen, you’ll stay at a guesthouse and enjoy dinner on your own.

While in Fes, you’ll get to relax on a free day with yoga, spa, massage, or a traditional hammam experience, and enjoy a cultural night at Kassr Annoujoum with a concert of Andalusian music, followed by a culinary feast of Moroccan cuisine. You’ll also experience a cooking school at El Karma Couscous and learn how to make hand-rolled couscous. In Midelt, you’ll stay overnight at a guesthouse.

In Erg Chebbi, you’ll participate in a sunset camel experience over the dunes, followed by a desert dinner around a campfire and then spend the night in a luxury tent at Orient Desert Camp.

When you arrive in Ouarzazate, you can opt for a traditional henna application before heading to your traditional Moroccan dinner. During your time in Marrakech, you’ll get to experience a “behind-the-scenes” tour as you visit a communal bakery, walk through a local food market, visit a traditional hammam, and a fondouk—a traditional trading place for merchants from across North Africa.

Other sites you’ll visit on this FAM are: the Grand Mosque and Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the Roman ruins of Voulibilis in Fes—a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the arch of Bab Mansour, Wander Place el Hedime, religious schools such as the Mederas Bou Inania and Al Attarine, a Koranic school in Fes, a natural forest area near Ifran and  Imouzar, Mousee des Sources de Lalla Mimouna, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah—a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kasbah Telouet in Marrakech, the Jardins Marjorelle—former home of Yves Saint Laurent, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Medersa Ben Youssef, plus Jemma el Fna—a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Hassan II Mosque, and the Boulevard de la Corniche.

Hotel stays include: Suite Hotel Casa Diamond, 2 Ciels Boutique Hotel, Oz Palace, Ksar Timnay, Palais Amani, Puerta Azul, Hotel Radisson Blu Casablanca, and the Orient Desert Camp.

Rates start at $1,995 per agent, and an additional $150 for guest.
