Intrepid Travel has opened applications for its largest FAM program to date, set to take place throughout 2026. Running from March through December, the program opens up access to more destinations and trip styles than in previous years.
“We know the best way for advisors to truly understand and sell Intrepid is to experience it themselves,”  said Laura Hernandez, Head of Partnerships USA, in a press statement. “When advisors travel with us, they return with confidence, stories and a genuine connection to the destinations and people behind the trips. These FAMs also allow advisors to have a meaningful impact. They deepen their knowledge so they can send clients who want to travel responsibly, and they help support local community organizations through the Intrepid Foundation. It’s a win for advisors, travelers and the destinations themselves.”

Intrepid Takes You There

The 2026 lineup spans four major regions—Central and South America, Europe, North Africa and East Asia—covering some of the company’s most requested destinations. Opportunities include itineraries in Belize, Guatemala, Turkey, South Korea, Peru, Morocco and a multi-country route through Hungary, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. In the U.S. market, Morocco, Turkey and Peru remain among Intrepid’s top performers, with Premium product bookings increasing 80 percent year over year during the Black Friday period.

Applications are now open for all FAM opportunities, with final deadlines set for Dec. 31, 2025, for Central America trips, and Jan. 28, 2026, for all others. Due to limited capacity and strong demand, early applicants will receive priority consideration once itineraries are finalized.

Every FAM itinerary reflects Intrepid’s range of trip styles, from short breaks to cultural and active travel. The official calendar includes:

  • March: Short Breaks in Guatemala and Belize
  • June: Food and culture-focused journeys in South Korea
  • October: Adventure and trekking itineraries in Peru
  • December: European Christmas market programs

All general FAM trips will be hosted by members of Intrepid’s Partnerships Team. Participation fees begin at $400 per person, and a portion of these fees will support Intrepid Foundation partners within each destination. The company estimates that the 2026 program will direct over $13,000 to local community projects.

A new simplified process for 2026 allows all U.S. and Canadian participants to apply through a single online form on the Intrepid Agent Hub.
