Loreto, Baja California Sur (LTO) is a lovely little seaside town that’s big on history and even bigger on charm. Now American Airlines has upped its weekly flights to the destination from Phoenix, AZ (PHX) to six flights per week. This non-stop service is in addition to the one weekly flight on the airline from Dallas, TX (DFW), allowing connecting service from just about anywhere in the nation, as well as an Alaska Airlines’ connection from Los Angeles and service on Volaris Airlines from Tijuana via San Diego’s Cross Border Express.

“We are thrilled with American Airlnes’ continued confidence in Loreto as a destination,” said Jesus Ordoñez, general director of Visit Loreto, in a press statement. “The have been extraordinary partners in increasing access to our unique location and its authentic and sustainable adventure offerings. We look forward to welcoming and delighting more visitors with American’s increased flight frequency.”
