Explore Spain on a FAM trip with FAMTrips.travel and allSpain Travel offering two travel options: Oct 3-12, 2021 and April 21-30, 2022. On this FAM trip you’ll start in Madrid and visit Toledo, Seville, Cordoba and Granada, including a visit inside the Alhambra and Generalife gardens. Then you’ll head on to Valencia, and end the FAM in Barcelona.

During this 9-night trip through Spain, you will experience some of the most famous cities and world heritage sites of Spain. With much of this region having a world heritage going back long before the Roman Empire, and also including its history of Moorish rule, the monuments of Spain are reflections of the diversity of its ancient past.

While in Madrid, you’ll visit the Royal Palace, Teatro Real, and Parliament. Then, when visiting Toledo you’ll explore the former medieval capital of Spain, which still retains its medieval atmosphere and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Toledo, you’ll go on a walking tour, and then head to Andalucia and finally end the day in Cordoba. During your time in Cordoba, you’ll enjoy a walking tour of the city and explore the ancient Jewish Quarter, and then head to Sevilla, where you’ll visit an Andalusian horse farm, end with dinner at a local restaurant, and a stay at Hotel Catalonia Giralda. When visiting Granada, advisors will visit Alhambra, which overlooks the city and offers views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the distance. After dinner, guests have the option to attend a Flamenco show ($35 pp) at The Caves of Sacromente. Next, it’s off to Valencia where you’ll visit the City of Arts and Sciences. The trip ends in Barcelona, where travelers explore the city with a local expert for a tour that drives along Las Ramblas, and see one of the most famous artworks—the unfinished La Sagrada Familia Basilica, which has been under construction since 1882.

This FAM includes a welcome drink at the hotel and an orientation from the Tour Director; coach and guide for half day tour in Madrid; local English-speaking guides in various cities, dinners at the hotel in Cordoba, Granada and Valencia; restaurant dinners in Madrid, Seville and Barcelona; entrances to various sites; plus a visit to Andalusian horse farm, Orange tour in Valencia, and headset use during the trip.
