In summer 2019, Tara Tours is taking travel advisors on a FAM that combines some of Ecuador’s most sought after destinations and experiences.
Departing on June 1, the Ecuador FAM will begin in Guayaquil, where advisors will hop aboard the luxury Tren Crucero for a two-and-a-half-hour train ride to Hacienda La Danesa. At this picturesque site, they will watch as cacao is picked and processed and learn to make their own chocolate bars before indulging in a 3-course lunch and having the opportunity to milk a cow and use that milk for their tea or coffee. Next on the itinerary will be three nights aboard the M/V Legend, which will sail throughout the Galapagos Islands. Travelers will tour Darwin Bay, snorkel alongside sea lions and other marine life, plus explore a forest, an open lava field, a tidal lagoon, and more. The Ecuador FAM will then end with a trip to Quito, where advisors will have a tour of both the colonial and modern sides of the city.
Pricing for this Ecuador FAM starts at $2,479 pp dbl with spouses or companions paying $2,899 pp. This price includes all accommodations, most meals, English-speaking guides, private transportation, domestic airfare from Guayaquil to Baltra, one of the islands in the Galapagos, and then to Quito, three nights aboard the M/V Legend, all tips to waiters, guides, and drivers, and more.
