The Portofino has elevated their health and wellness programming by incorporating new healthy choices with its recent addition of Vital Proteins’ collagen stick packs and functional beverage products. The hotel now offers the products in guestroom mini bars and as an option to add to smoothies and juices at BALEENkitchen during breakfast and brunch. Vital Proteins strives to help people feel better and live fuller lives through whole-food-based nutrition. The nutrition supplements promote the body’s production of collagen with natural, minimally processed products.
In addition, The Portofino has also opened a new Adventure Center elevating the property with new levels of guest activities. Partnering with the renowned outdoor recreation brand REI, The Portofino is launching customized water activity tours where guests can rent standup paddle boards, single and tandem kayaks, and beach cruiser bikes. The new Adventure Center provides a selection of healthy takeaway food, beverage options and sundries. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Adventure Center is located at The Portofino dockside next to the boat dock.
