Carillon Miami Wellness Resort has launched an emotional wellness retreat for women to support mental wellbeing. Programming includes a workshop series that takes place throughout the summer and culminates in a weekend retreat from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, 2022.

Integrative Emotional Wellness: a Holistic Retreat for Women is a joint venture with relationship therapist and author Dr. Paul Hokemeyer and Corey Spiegel, founder of the women’s networking organization Light House, who are leading workshops on topics ranging from making and keeping grown up friends and caring for one’s aging parents to self-awareness and how to deal with narcissists. “Whether you’re in the midst of a major life, relationship or career change, confronting a major life decision or simply wanting to re-evaluate your place in the world, the programming that Dr. Hokemeyer and I created is meant to reset your emotional and physical circuitry,” said Spiegel in a press statement. “The sessions will help provide participants with a foundation of calm, clarity and purpose.”

In a press statement Dr. Hokemeyer said he had witnessed “a surge in people struggling with a host of emotional wellness issues such as angst, sadness, insomnia and a general sense of disease” throughout the pandemic and now that the world is emerging from the crisis, he is seeing “these same issues manifest in people who are exhausted from the weight of their lives and the world, which has become even more chaotic and fractured.” With the help of Spiegel and the resort’s top-notch facilities overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Dr. Hokemeyer will provide the necessary tools to help people overcome these challenges.

Guests can purchase the Integrative Emotional Wellness weekend sessions a la carte, priced at $99 per person per session, or as packages.

Prices for the retreat weekend from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, 2022, start at $2,953 per person and include three nights of luxury apartment accommodations, breakfasts and lunches, spa and wellness therapies at the largest spa and wellness center on the Eastern Seaboard, and movement classes throughout the weekend.
