Riviera River Cruises will offer two new itineraries on the Seine and Danube rivers in 2020. The Seine, Paris & Normandy River Cruise will take guests from the French capital to a D-Day beach, a cemetery honoring American soldiers and Monet’s garden, while The Vienna, Bohemia & the Treasures of the Danube River Cruise will take them from the seat of the Habsburg Empire to the Roman city of Regensburg and the medieval Cesky Krumlov castle.

“We’re excited to offer these new itineraries on the Seine and Danube Rivers to guests in 2020,” said Marilyn Conroy, Riviera River Cruises’ v.p. of sales and marketing for North America, in press materials. “At Riviera River Cruises, our itineraries are balanced with insightful excursions led by experts who bring history and culture to life, as well as time to allow guests to explore destinations at a relaxing pace. Join us as we meander through the French countryside and past chalk cliffs, and visit the medieval cities and towns of Austria and Germany.”

Highlights of The Seine, Paris & Normandy River Cruise include visiting Les Andelys and the ruins of Richard the Lionheart’s Chateau Gaillard, the harbor of Honfleur, and Monet’s home and garden in Giverny. Guests will also tour the medieval city of Rouen, the D-Day landing site at Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery and iconic Paris sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Sacre-Coeur and more. Departures for this 8-day cruise are available April through October, with rates starting at $2,299 pp dbl.
