The Confidante Miami Beach has completed its latest multi-million dollar renovation of the 339-room mid-century modern hotel in October 2021. The property now features 35 suites offering large guest bathrooms and walk-in showers, plus the premium suite categories will also feature furnished balconies with ocean and city views, floor-to-ceiling windows, and separate living rooms with a queen size sofa bed.

The Confidante offers guests mixology, elevated dining options and live music. Based on increased demand for suites, The Confidante has added 21 new suites, including the 575 sq. ft. Vista Balcony Suite, complete with a separate sitting area featuring mid-century modern decor, retro bar cart and balcony with partial ocean views; the 570 sq. ft. Ocean View Balcony Suite, with a fully furnished balcony and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean; and the 625 sq. ft. Miami Suite, featuring separate living quarters, city skyline views, and a walk-in shower with freestanding bathtub.

“The newly introduced suites were designed as a personal retreat, enhancing each Miami Beach moment from sunrise to sundown, all while overlooking the buzzing streets of Collins Avenue, and the endless views of the Atlantic Ocean,” says Amy Johnson, general manager of The Confidante Miami Beach, in a press statement. “Miami has evolved into a cosmopolitan center with a thriving arts and culture scene, world renowned architecture, and a diverse culinary scene.  Our renovation reflects that evolution and we will set the tone for a new decade of luxury suites where The Confidante remains a leader in hospitality, and continues to be recognized as one of the best hotels in Florida, and the United States,” adds Johnson.

The renovation combined a beach house-style millwork and an airy neutral palette with geometric-patterned rugs, hard surfaced flooring and accents of coral, teal and metallic gold. With Canada-based designer James McIntyre leading the design of the newly renovated suites, this marks the first renovation of the iconic hotel rooms since it’s opening in 2016.

Rates range from $200-$1,500 per night depending on hotel occupancy and time of year.
