AskMeWeddings’ new Proactive Honeymoons & Destination Weddings Specialist Program (AskMePhD) is aimed at helping travel agents increase their revenues on destination wedding and honeymoon bookings by providing them with the tools and resources necessary to create and implement an effective business plan. The 12-month program, held on a quarterly basis beginning January 2016, includes strategy sessions, roundtable meetings and support via conference calls, webinars and in-person meetings, as well as sharing tips, tools and techniques. AskMePhD members receive customized agency-branded materials, such as flyers and monthly postcard mailings, pre-written social media posts and signage.
- Quarterly Business Training Webinar
Each quarter will feature an interactive webinar that focuses on growth strategies and tools. The first quarter webinar will concentrate on developing a business plan and implementing it.
- Business Strategy Boot Camp
During boot camp, AskMePhD members spend a weekend focusing on the strategic steps they need to implement in order to increase their business.
- Promotion Weeks
Exclusive promotion weeks are held throughout the year and offer members-only access to deals, discounts and commission boost opportunities with AskMeWeddings’ hotel partners.
- Co-op Advertising and Participation Opportunities
Co-op advertising and participation opportunities are available at regional and national bridal shows in print publications and online outlets.
In addition to these benefits, agents who join the AskMePhD business development course receive one complimentary Live & Learn FAM trip per year, earn up to 12 percent commission on AskMeWeddings’ packages and are able to collaborate in developing Romance Nights for clients. AskMePhD costs $250 per participant and is only available to certified travel agents who are currently booking destination weddings and have been in business for at least three years.
