Windstar Cruises’ First Integration With a Booking Engine is Here

Windstar Cruises is marking its first integration with a booking engine platform by announcing its partnership with Revelex. This move aims to streamline the booking process for travel advisors and expand Windstar’s global reach.

Revelex’s Power Agent 5 system aggregates inventory from over 40 cruise lines, providing travel advisors with a centralized platform for cruise bookings. The system offers several key features, including access to global cruise API, the ability to pull web and private fares, search and booking capabilities for multiple cruise products, a yield management tool for applying mark-ups and discounts and post-booking modification options.

“This new integration further cements our commitment to the travel trade industry as we do everything possible to create a trouble-free and streamlined booking process,” said Chief Commercial Officer Janet Bava in a press statement. “We’ve been searching for and identifying the best and most impactful ways to increase our distribution worldwide, and adding Revelex is an ideal way to expand our global footprint and help make more travel partners aware of the magic that is Windstar and see the broad range of destinations we sail such as the Mediterranean, Tahiti and Caribbean.”

The partnership is expected to increase awareness of Windstar’s offerings among travel partners, particularly highlighting the cruise line’s diverse destination portfolio, which includes the Mediterranean, Tahiti and the Caribbean.

This integration aligns with Windstar’s broader strategy to identify effective methods for expanding its distribution worldwide. By leveraging Revelex’s established user base and global reach, Windstar wants to make its boutique cruise products more accessible to a wider range of travel advisors.
