Emerald Sakara, Emerald Cruises’ second luxury vessel and twin to Emerald Azzura, is off on its maiden voyage, an 8-day itinerary, the Ionian Sea Adventure, that’s taking the lucky guests from Athens to Rome via Amalfi, Sorrento and Capri.

“Launching a new luxury yacht is always exciting as the tremendous work done by our talented team of designers and builders comes to life,” said Glen Moroney, Scenic Group Chairman and founder on the launch of Emerald Cruises’ second luxury yacht, Emerald Sakara, in a press statement. “Being able to add Emerald Sakara nearly a year after we launched Emerald Azzurra speaks volumes about how well our yacht cruising program has been received by guests, travel advisors and charter partners. With Emerald Sakara, we are opening up even more exciting new destinations for our guests to explore.”

The New Adventures of Emerald Sakara

Twin ship to Emerald Azzura, the newest of Emerald Cruises’ fleet nonetheless has its own personal touches, most notably in the interior design, plus tech upgrades that include Starlink internet services so your clients can Insta their luxury adventures with even more ease.

Following her maiden voyage, Emerald Sakara will head out for a season of exploration off the waters of Italy, Greece, Turkiye and the Adriatic. She will then cross the Atlantic to join her sister ship in the Caribbean and Central America. Emerald Sakara’s first Eastern Caribbean and Grenadines departs on Nov. 18, 2023, before its christening in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on December 2. Kelly Craighead, president and CEO of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has been tapped to be the godmother.
