Starting with Winter 2024-2025 departures, PONANT will offer guests one included excursion per port of call.

Between the 17 itineraries and 32 departures scheduled, these immersive experiences in Winter 2024-25 might include sailing the Arabian fjords aboard a traditional dhow boat; learning how the Panama Canal was built through expert-led talks; embarking on a Northern Lights expedition in the Arctic; or marveling at Buddha statues within Sri Lanka’s Dambulla Cave Temple.

The initiative is part of PONANT’s commitment to purposeful travel, allowing guests to dive deeper into local culture and heritage, challenge their sense of adventure through thrilling excursions, drive their curiosity through artistic programming, and inspire their sense of wonder by pondering spectacular natural landscapes.

PONANT Excursions Must be Booked Well in Advance

As capacities are limited, pre-booking will open around two months before departure, and requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. For those who would like to get even further off the beaten track or experience more exclusive activities, optional paying excursions will also be offered for each departure.

Note—the offer is valid from the Winter season 2024-2025, for all PONANT voyages, excluding sailings on board the m/s Paul Gauguin. One excursion is included per person and per stopover.

French-flagged, the PONANT fleet comprises 13 small-capacity ships equipped with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly equipment.
