The Backroads trip planners have been busy creating new biking and multi-adventure trips that recently went live on their website and are now available for booking.
There are two new U.S. trips—NY Finger Lakes and Georgia Isles & Florida, which start running this summer. And, the new Tahiti ocean cruise will launch in the spring of 2023.
Here’s what your clients can expect on these new trips:
New York Finger Lakes Bike Tour—launches August- September 2022
On this 5-day itinerary, travelers will bike along Owasco, Cayuga, and Canandaigua Lakes. They’ll also taste the wines of the Finger Lakes region while traveling through vineyards along the route, and then unwind in historic towns like Aurora and Seneca Falls.
Georgia Isles & Florida Coast Multi-Adventure Tour—launches October 2022
This 5-day journey takes travelers from Florida to Georgia as they learn about the indigenous people, immigrants, fishermen and billionaires that call this area home. Bikers will dine on southern comfort food and explore beyond their bikes on ferry, off-road Jeep, and kayak.
Tahiti Ocean Cruise Multi-Adventure Tour—runs May – October 2023
This multi-adventure 8-day tour will have adventurers biking past vanilla fields, hiking to hidden jungle waterfalls, and snorkeling while sailing from one Polynesian isle to the next. Travelers will explore the secluded coastline on Bora Bora, bike to ancient sacred sites on Huahine, and immerse themselves in Polynesian culture on Moorea. In addition, they’ll visit a black pearl farm, taste local distillery, and tour a vanilla plantation.
