Located just minutes from Walt Disney World, the world’s largest Marriott hotel—Orlando World Center Marriott—has undergone a multimillion-dollar property renovation, touching on its guestrooms, dining venues, golf course and other amenities.

The newly renovated guestrooms— 1,500 of them—feature mini-refrigerators, reading chairs, large desks and WiFi. Clients can upgrade to family-friendly suites for expanded living and dining space, as well as views of nightly laser shows.

Orlando World Center Marriott is home to Hawk’s Landing Golf Club, a recently redesigned 18-hole championship golf course created by noted golf course architect Robert Cupp. Hawks Landing Golf Club was redesigned after a 4-month renovation and re-opened last summer. The 18-hole course features a challenging layout and a par 3 island green finishing hole. Additionally, the Orlando Golf Academy is located onsite for individual lessons and clinics, and the resort is now offering a brand-new 18-hole mini-golf course,  Falls Links, on the property’s activities lawn.

Guests can also rejuvenate in the resort’s full-service spa or indulge at one of nine hotel restaurants, offering internationally minded cuisine made from fresh ingredients from Hycube, an onsite hydroponic vertical garden.

In terms of property experiences, there’s an increased schedule of activities including live entertainment, snow cone stands, Gatorland animal encounters, trivia games, ladybug release and family Olympics . Orlando World Center Marriott has just recently added an arcade and converted High Velocity into a gaming pub (arcade games for the family pairing with the casual restaurant and sports bar).
