G Adventures has added new trips to Dominica to its Caribbean offerings, marking its first itineraries on the island. Known more for cruise calls than for land-based exploration, Dominica offers your clients a different side of the Caribbean, with plenty of inland adventure and cultural depth. These new itineraries move beyond the beach to highlight the island’s volcanic terrain, dense rainforests and rare marine experiences.

“G Adventures has always sought to help travelers see destinations in a new way,” says Yves Marceau, VP of Product at G Adventures, in a press statement. “We’re incredibly excited to expand our Caribbean offering with Dominica and to shine a light on its incredible natural and cultural richness. By moving beyond the traditional cruise narrative, we’re helping travelers experience the island more deeply while ensuring tourism revenue reaches local and Indigenous communities.”

The programs join G Adventures’ premium active Geluxe travel style, focusing on upgraded stays, elevated dining and a balance of physical challenge and cultural connection. Each itinerary includes an “OMG Day,” allowing your clients to choose one of two immersive experiences to further personalize their trip.

Dominica: Waterfalls, Volcanic Peaks & Kalinago Culture is an 8-day land program based in Roseau that dives into the island’s inland diversity. Travelers visit the twin cascades of Trafalgar Falls and hike to Middleham Falls, the island’s tallest. They explore the mangrove-lined Indian River, known for its appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean, and spend time at Champagne Beach, where volcanic vents send bubbles through the seabed. Cabrits National Park and its Fort Shirley Garrison are also included, along with beachside dining at Keeping it Real. The signature OMG Day offers a choice between swimming through Titou Gorge, followed by a soak in natural hot springs, or visiting Spanny and Jacko Falls, with optional whale-watching. The itinerary also features a cultural encounter with the Kalinago people, including cassava bread-making, farm visits and time on the Waitukubuli National Trail.

Dominica: Whales, Waterfalls & the Wild Caribbean focuses on the island’s rich marine biodiversity with five days dedicated to responsible whale encounters. Travelers can swim with sperm whales in one of the few places worldwide where this is possible. The island hosts a resident population year-round and has established an 800-square-mile marine-protected zone to support conservation and sustainable tourism. Snorkeling at Champagne Beach is included, with guides leading participants along the bubbling seabed to view coral and tropical fish. Of note: These encounters adhere to G Adventures’ Animal Welfare Policies to ensure ethical and conservation-minded interactions.
