WAVE season brings all kinds of good things, and as far as Windstar Cruises is concerned, this means perks for clients and benefits for travel advisors.
“We have so many opportunities for travel advisors to increase their business with Windstar,” said Janet Bava, chief commercial officer of Windstar Cruises, in a press statement. “Popular promotions like Pick your Perk are helpful to close sales, but this year we’ve also opened up new sailing regions to help bring clients back and attract new travelers.”

Your clients have until Feb. 29, 2024, to choose their Pick Your Perk offer of one free hotel night (that can be used pre- or post-cruise) or up to $1,000 Onboard Credit. The latter can be used for shore excursions, cocktails or spa services. If they’re booked on a premium suite, your clients can choose to upgrade to the All-Inclusive Fare, meaning all gratuities, alcohol and Wi-Fi are covered. Of note: The savings are good on all sailings through May 2026 and include the Mediterranean (meaning they can book the first-ever sailings aboard Star Legend this winter), the Caribbean, the Greek Isles, Tahiti, and even the new destinations, including South America and the Canary Islands.
The advisor perks are just as attractive. You can earn your choice of an extra $100 bonus commission or an Amazon gift card per each stateroom/suite you book by Feb. 29 in any destination through 2026. And if you confirm the booking by Dec. 31, 2023, you’ll earn an additional $50 Amazon gift card.
The Sell One & Sail Free benefit means you and a guest sail free in a suite for two on any Star Legend sailing in the Med this winter (through March 2024) when you book a client for a 2023-2024 Legendary Winter in the Med sailing. You must book your clients by Dec. 31, 2023, to qualify. When booking clients through Star Advantage Groups, you’ll earn a Tour Conductor credit for every seven guests you book, plus you’ll receive a $100 per guest bonus commission for every TC you earn. Your clients also benefit: they’ll receive $100 per person shipboard credit, a 10 percent savings on cruise fare and a 15 percent deposit for the group. This offer is also good through Dec. 31, 2023, for all new Star Advantage Groups you open by this date.
But wait, there’s more: Remind clients that Star Collector Voyages that last 13 days or more get complimentary laundry service; the company’s All-Inclusive fare is $89 per guest, per day; and solo supplements have been waived or reduced on dozens of departures.
