Universal Orlando Resort has disclosed new details about its upcoming Super Nintendo World, set to open at Universal Epic Universe in 2025. This addition promises to immerse your clients in the colorful world of Nintendo’s most popular characters, including for the first time in the U.S., some of Donkey Kong.

Once they enter the land through the iconic green pipe, guests will be transported into a dynamic environment that replicates the animated worlds found within Nintendo game consoles. The area boasts animated landscapes, interactive features and characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad and Donkey Kong.

In Super Mario Land, the Mushroom Kingdom is brought to life, allowing your clients to participate in the world of Mario Kart through a high-tech ride that incorporates augmented reality and projection mapping. They will navigate Bowser’s Castle, compete in a race alongside Nintendo characters and try to win. Yoshi’s Adventure, another family-oriented attraction, will make its first appearance in the U.S., offering a scenic ride through the Mushroom Kingdom in search of Yoshi eggs.

Everything is Epic at Universal Epic Universe

Dining options like Toadstool Cafe will offer clients a taste of the Super Mario universe, with thematic dishes and a dining experience that includes virtual views of Toads preparing meals. Additionally, two quick-service locations, Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats, will offer an assortment of themed snacks and drinks.

Even the meet and greets will be epic.

Retail experiences such as the 1-UP Factory and Mario Motors will offer merchandise and souvenirs inspired by the Super Mario series. Character meet-and-greets with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad will also be available in different areas of Super Mario Land.

Donkey Kong Country will be located right next to Super Mario Land and will introduce clients to a jungle setting just like in the video game series, complete with tropical landscapes and landmarks. Mine-Cart Madness is a family coaster that simulates the escapades of Donkey Kong, including dynamic movements and track jumps similar to those in the game series.

The Power-Up Band, a wearable device that allows your clients to interact with the environment, collect digital coins, complete activities and compete in challenges, will further enhance the experience at Super Nintendo World.
