Mark your calendars for an exciting summer at Universal Orlando Resort, as the destination is set to debut a variety of new experiences beginning June 14. This expansion will feature the vibrant DreamWorks Land, a themed area inspired by animated classics such as Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda. Together with the land’s opening, your clients can look forward to the premiere of CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular, an innovative nighttime lagoon show. Additionally, the Hogwarts Always castle projection show will enchant everyone on your list at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Hogsmeade, and the grand Universal Mega Movie Parade will impress all in the family with its debut on July 3.

CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular is expected to bring a vivid showcase to Universal Studios Florida’s lagoon waters, blending iconic scores and scenes from blockbuster films corresponding to legacy and upcoming park attractions. The high-tech show will incorporate an array of elaborate fountains, state-of-the-art 4K projection mapping and synchronized drone fleets.
In July, the Universal Mega Movie Parade will take to the streets with floats and performers representing movie franchises like E.T., Jurassic World, Minions and more. The parade aims to be Universal Orlando’s most extensive daytime event to date, featuring new float designs and nearly a hundred performers to recreate some of the more memorable cinematic moments.
Complementing the parade, a Summer Tribute Store is slated to open, stocked with film-inspired merchandise and spaces for photo opportunities. Expect details in the upcoming months.
At Universal Islands of Adventure, the Hogwarts Always projection show is anticipated to light up the night with its own brand of magic. This show will guide fans through a year at Hogwarts, complete with a house celebration and pyrotechnics, adding an extra layer of immersion to the Harry Potter-themed section.
The elaborate DreamWorks Land will have your clients fully engaged with interactive zones, live shows and character encounters. The park will introduce original interactive bubble wands, which interact with each other and with parade elements.
