Star Clippers’ Royal Clipper embarks on in-depth explorations of the Adriatic Sea in summer 2026. The line’s new 7-night Croatia & Montenegro itinerary will highlight both historic centers and lesser-known ports across Croatia, Montenegro and Italy.
Sailing round-trip from Venice every Saturday between June 27 and August 22, 2026, Royal Clipper will call on Šibenik, Croatia, a coastal town known for its medieval architecture and culinary heritage, as well as Vis (Komiza), founded in 397 B.C. The itinerary also includes Rovinj and Dubrovnik.
Across the border in Montenegro, guests will discover Kotor, a UNESCO-listed walled town, and in Italy, the itinerary features Pesaro, birthplace of composer Gioachino Rossini and a UNESCO Creative City of Music.
Sailing in Classic Style
Carrying just 227 guests, the Royal Clipper’s 42 sails span nearly 56,000 square feet, making it the largest and only five-masted, fully-rigged sailing ship in service today. Onboard amenities include 9,000 square feet of open deck space, three swimming pools, a marina platform for watersports, a tri-level dining room and a spa and health club.
