Royalton Vessence Barbados Adult-Oriented, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort has opened on the island’s Platinum Coast, marking the first Royalton Hotels & Resorts property on Barbados and the global debut of the Royalton Vessence brand. The beachfront resort sits approximately 30 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport, near the island’s premier luxury shopping district.

“The opening of Royalton Vessence Barbados represents one of the most meaningful milestones in our company’s evolution,” said Jordi Pelfort, President of Royalton Hotels & Resorts, in a press statement. “Barbados has long been one of the Caribbean’s most iconic destinations, recognized for its culture, character, and vibrant energy. Bringing our first property to the island gave us the opportunity to create something intentionally different, a resort designed not simply around where guests stay, but around how they experience the destination itself.”

The First Royalton of its Kind

Designed exclusively for adults, the property offers 220 accommodations, including oceanfront suites, swim-out categories and Diamond Club accommodations, the latter featuring personalized butler service and access to dedicated spaces throughout the resort. The top tier, Royalton Suites & Villas, includes the Presidential Suite and Chairman Suite for guests seeking additional privacy.

Dining spans 17 food and beverage outlets: five specialty a la carte restaurants, a Sports Bar, two casual grill concepts, four bars, four rooftop culinary venues and a cafe and pastry shop. The restaurant lineup includes Moi Aussi for French cuisine, Kai for Asian flavors, Hunter Steakhouse and La Scala Italian Trattoria. Diamond Club guests have exclusive access to four venues at The Rooftop, where panoramic ocean views and curated sunset programming are part of the offer.

Wellness offerings include Moddo Fitness by Royalton FIT, The Royal Spa with hydrotherapy rituals and immersive treatments, and dedicated mindfulness and digital detox areas throughout the property.

Culture runs through the resort by design. Art exhibitions and locally inspired augmented-reality installations are woven into the guest experience. At The Studio, guests can connect with local artists, join painting, pottery and creative workshops, or take in live music and rotating cultural programming.

Of note: The resort participates in Marriott Bonvoy.
