Riviera Travel has opened sales for three major cruise programs, including Festive 2027 river cruises, Mekong River sailings for 2028 and the debut of the new ship Riviera Reflection. The ultra-premium river cruise company launched bookings on March 18 for its most in-demand holiday departures and expanded fleet offerings.

“This is one of our most significant launches of the year, bringing together festive river cruises, expanded solo options, long‑haul itineraries and the next evolution of our fleet,” said Stuart Milan, President of North America for Riviera Travel, in a press statement. “With Festive 2027, Mekong 2028 and Riviera Reflection all on sale today, we’re giving guests more choice—and more reasons to book early.”

Riviera Travel Updates

The Festive 2027 season features Christmas markets and New Year sailings across Europe’s rivers. Seven itineraries are now available, including Enchanting Rhine and Yuletide Markets, The Danube’s Imperial Cities and Yuletide Markets, Christmas on the Rhine, Christmas on the Danube, New Year on the Rhine, New Year on the Danube and Magical Paris & Festive Seine.

Riviera is expanding its solo traveler program with two new permanent additions for 2027. Christmas on the Danube River Cruise for Solo Travelers and New Year on the Danube River Cruise for Solo Travelers join existing solo-only departures. These sailings eliminate single supplements while providing curated experiences designed exclusively for solo guests.

The company has also released 2028 dates for its Vietnam, Cambodia & Mekong River Cruise aboard Riviera Alba. This marks Riviera’s first ship in Asia, bringing the brand’s European service standards to Southeast Asia. Strong demand prompted the early release of 2028 Mekong dates, allowing extended advance planning for the Vietnam and Cambodia itinerary.

Riviera Reflection, the newest addition to the fleet, begins Danube sailings in Sept. 2027. The ship serves as a sister vessel to Riviera Radiance and features the line’s signature split-level lounge, the largest suites in the fleet and a third dining venue, Mosaic.
