Princess Cruises has opened bookings for its 2028 World Cruise, a 115-day voyage aboard the Coral Princess that will visit 49 destinations across 24 countries and five continents.
Departing Jan. 3, 2028, the sailing will operate round-trip from both Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles. The voyage will feature visits to 39 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, expanded overnight and late-night port calls and a maiden visit to Mossel Bay.
A Global Itinerary Across Five Continents
Sailing aboard the 2,000-guest Coral Princess, the itinerary begins with a transit of the Panama Canal before continuing to destinations in Hawaii and the South Pacific, including Samoa and Fiji.
The ship will then sail on to Australia and New Zealand before crossing the Indian Ocean to islands such as Mauritius and Reunion Island. In Southern Africa, the ship will call on Cape Town for an overnight stay before making its inaugural call to Mossel Bay.
The journey then continues north along Africa’s west coast and into the Mediterranean, including stops in Barcelona, Sicily and Dubrovnik, as well as Casablanca, before returning across the Atlantic to North America.
More Time Ashore
The 2028 sailing includes expanded More Ashore experiences designed to provide additional time in key destinations. Highlights include overnight stays in Cape Town and Auckland, as well as 10 late-night port calls such as Barcelona, Casablanca, Dubrovnik, Honolulu, Melbourne and Sydney.
Princess Cruises will also introduce new safari experiences in South Africa, including excursions to the Aquila Game Reserve and Pumba Private Game Reserve.
Throughout the voyage, guests will have access to onboard programming that includes themed deck events, folkloric performances and destination-focused lectures. Additional enrichment activities include language classes, culinary demonstrations and cultural workshops.Â
Dining will feature globally inspired menus influenced by the ship’s ports of call, with dishes prepared using regionally sourced ingredients. Flexible booking options allow travelers to choose full-length sailings or segments ranging from 20 to 100 days, offering additional customization for extended travel itineraries.
