Designed to simplify trip planning for one of Florida’s most in-demand winter wildlife experiences, the new package bundles lodging with guided water-based activities departing directly from the lodge’s private dock. Pricing is for two guests for a two-night midweek stay
The package includes two nights at the waterfront lodge, a guided manatee snorkel tour with all gear provided, a scenic boat tour and a half-day kayak rental. All tours are operated by licensed, insured, U.S. Coast Guard–certified captains, with enclosed boats offering towel service, hot beverages and environmentally friendly power pole systems to minimize impact on the manatees’ protected habitat.
Following the on-the-water experiences, guests have access to the newly opened dive shop, which features hot showers, private changing rooms and professional photo and video services.
Crystal River’s spring-fed waters maintain a consistent 72 degrees throughout winter, making the area the most reliable destination in Florida for observing West Indian manatees during colder months. While sightings are possible year-round, winter remains the prime viewing season. Tours emphasize conservation education and responsible interaction, aligning well with growing demand for ethical wildlife tourism.
