Oceania Cruises will operate its first full winter season in the Mediterranean aboard Oceania Allura, beginning in winter 2027-28. The new program features 17 itineraries ranging from 9 to 26 days, perfect for clients interested in exploring Europe during its quieter months. The itineraries extend from Barcelona to Istanbul and highlight both major cultural centers and smaller ports.

“Winter sailings in the Mediterranean have a completely different pace and atmosphere to those in the summer months,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises, in a press statement. “We are so excited to offer our well-traveled and curious guests these opportunities to explore this perennially popular region, affording them countless opportunities to linger longer with extended days in port and overnight stays to savor the season’s rich flavors and traditions.”

Winter Wonderland by Oceania

Winter brings a different rhythm to cities such as Rome, Dubrovnik and Istanbul, where your clients can visit landmarks and museums with fewer crowds. Shore experiences highlight local flavor through winter markets, regional cuisine and cultural events that reflect traditional Mediterranean life in colder months.

Among the featured voyages is a 10-day sailing from Trieste to Barcelona, departing Nov. 7, 2027, that visits Koper, Dubrovnik, the Greek Isles, Athens and Catania before concluding in Spain. A 14-day sailing from Barcelona to Rome departs Dec. 20, 2027, calling in Valencia, Casablanca, Tangier, Sicily and ports along the Italian coast. Over Christmas, guests can explore seasonal markets across southern Europe and North Africa. The Feb. 19, 2028, sailing from Istanbul to Rome offers an overnight stay in Istanbul and stops in Greek ports including Volos and Katakolon before continuing along Italy’s western coastline.

Oceania Allura features an onboard enrichment program focused on skill development. Your clients can enjoy cooking sessions at the Culinary Center, art instruction in the Artist Loft or technology classes at the LYNC Digital Center. Culinary themes extend throughout the ship, reflecting Oceania Cruises’ focus on gastronomy and destination-driven menus.
