Montage International has announced a new luxury destination in Mexico’s iconic wine country: Montage Valle de Guadalupe. Scheduled to open in 2028, the development will be situated within the Bruma Wine Estate in Baja California, about an hour south of the U.S.-Mexico border. This is Montage International’s fifth property in Mexico, joining Montage Los Cabos, which opened in 2018, and upcoming developments Montage and Pendry Punta Mita and Pendry Mexico City.
“Valle de Guadalupe is one of the world’s most captivating wine regions, where rolling vineyards meet innovative culinary artistry, and we look forward to creating an immersive experience for our guests and residents to enjoy,” said Alan J. Fuerstman, Founder, Chairman and CEO, Montage International, in a press statement.

The new Montage Valle de Guadalupe will include 62 guestrooms and a limited number of Montage Residences designed to integrate naturally with the surrounding terrain. Planned amenities include a signature restaurant, lobby bar and lounge, a pool bar, Spa Montage, a fitness center and multiple event spaces. The design features 3,800 sq. ft. of indoor meeting and event space, a 4,000 sq. ft. wedding lawn, Compass Sports, retail outlets and a residential club. Families will also have access to the brand’s Paintbox program for their kids.
The location offers your clients first-row access to one of Mexico’s chicest wine-producing regions. The Valle de Guadalupe produces about 90 percent of the country’s wine and is home to over 150 wineries. They will now have access to Mexico’s first “cult winery,” which incorporates sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices.
Future plans for the surrounding Bruma destination include a wine club and vintner program, additional restaurants and a community center with a chef’s garden and artisanal retail. The Bruma Wellness Center will combine local traditions with modern practices, emphasizing vitality and longevity. Additional features will include an equestrian facility and a curated contemporary art program with resident artists and open studio events.
