Avanti Destinations has introduced a dedicated microsite for North Africa and the Middle East FIT travel that travel advisors can access without prior registration. Launched April 16, 2025, the platform features 12 new fixed-price packages across Morocco, Egypt and Jordan, plus customizable options in the United Arab Emirates.
The site serves as both an educational resource for advisors and a sales tool they can share directly with clients, including detailed day-by-day itineraries and seasonal pricing. While Avanti has sold exclusively through advisors since 1981, this platform enhances client visualization of these destinations while maintaining the advisor-client relationship.
“Non-customizable fixed-price packages were added in October of 2024 to help advisors quickly qualify whether their clients are serious prospects for specific destinations,” said Paul Barry, Avanti’s CEO, in a press statement. “With a custom FIT, an advisor can put in considerable time creating an itinerary before they arrive at a price, which their client may decide is too much. The fixed price packages show the total cost depending on the time of travel, or rate season. Also, these packages provide a structured starting point for conversations about customization possibilities. The client may say that the fixed-price package cost is acceptable, but they’d like to make changes and are willing to pay more to get exactly what they want.”
Morocco by Avanti
“Morocco has been our top-booked destination in the North Africa/Middle East region for the past two years, followed by Egypt. Obviously, tourism to the region has been down since October 7, 2023, although the UAE and Dubai, particularly, have remained robust destinations, which is mostly due to their appeal as excellent stopover stays for clients flying to Asia,” continued Barry in the press release. “Until now, we have sold this region on a customizable FIT basis. All the sightseeing tours and experiences we offer in the region are private, which helps clients get the most out of their vacation.”
“Advisors’ clients typically have wanted to see as much of Morocco as they can—so our customizable Grand Tour of Morocco has been popular. In Egypt, the typical vacation includes Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, most often via a Nile cruise. We now also offer a fixed-price land-based itinerary in Egypt. The most popular places in Jordan have been Petra, the Dead Sea and Wadi Rum. In the UAE, most itineraries are Dubai-centric with day tours to Abu Dhabi and the occasional add-on of an overnight stay in a tented Bedouin-style camp.”
Avanti’s Morocco offerings include two distinct itineraries that are available at four-star or five-star accommodation levels. The 8-day Morocco Escape focuses on southern regions, including Marrakesh and the Agafay Desert, starting at $5,599 per person for four-star properties or $9,075 for five-star accommodations. The more comprehensive 12-day Ultimate Morocco covers Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Marrakesh and includes a Sahara Desert luxury camp experience, starting at $13,525 per person for four-star or $18,925 for five-star options.
Egypt packages feature both cruise and land-based options. The 8-day Egypt Escape combines Cairo exploration with a four-night Nile cruise aboard either M/S Hamees or M/S Sunray, starting at $3,725 per person. The land-based 10-day Egypt Explorer includes Cairo, Aswan and Luxor, starting at $3,875, while an extended Ultimate Egypt adds the Siwa oasis for $6,849 per person.
Jordan options include a 6-day Essential Jordan and an expanded 8-day Ultimate Jordan visiting Amman, Petra and the Dead Sea, with the latter adding Wadi Rum. The Ultimate Jordan begins at $2,599 for four-star accommodations or $3,325 for five-star properties.
UAE vacations remain customizable with six suggested Dubai and Abu Dhabi itineraries. The Dubai Desert Escape combines three nights in the city with two nights at a desert resort, featuring a private city tour and access to the Burj Khalifa observation deck.
All packages include private transfers, daily breakfast, guided tours and accommodations, with specific cultural experiences tailored to each destination.
