Hyatt Hotels Corporation has expanded its portfolio in Cancun with the launch of the adults-only Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, the newest addition to Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection. This opening marks Hyatt’s continued growth in Mexico, with more resorts set to open later this year.

“Hyatt offers brands that meet guests and members across every stay occasion and every walk of life. The debut of Hyatt Vivid Grand Island represents an exciting new chapter in the Inclusive Collection’s story,” said Melanie Benozich, Associate VP of Marketing & Global Branding, in a press statement.

New Hyatt in Town

Located near the Cancun hotel zone and close to the upcoming Dreams Grand Island, the resort has suites ranging from 570 to over 3,000 sq. ft., with amenities that include private room service, stocked mini-bars, double vanities and views from oversized balconies. The Vantage Club offers an upgraded experience with exclusive perks like club suites with premium locations, a soaking tub, an in-room espresso machine and pillow menu in-room, personalized check-in and check-out, and concierge services, plus exclusive access to the private Vantage Club lounge and Mediterraneo restaurant for an added a la carte breakfast option.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island has 11 casual dining options and six bars, serving both top-shelf and zero-proof beverages. The dress code is resort-casual at all dining outlets.

On-site activities and group classes include golden-hour gatherings, painting, pottery, macrame, meditation, SUP yoga, Spanish classes and mezcal tastings. The resort’s rooftop fitness center offers equipment and group fitness classes.

Water amenities include three pools, a multi-tiered pool deck and the longest rooftop pool in Cancun. Your clients will also have access to the Ennea Beach Club, a private beach club with pools, a snack bar and a restaurant located near Playa Delfines Beach.
