All-inclusive icon Club Med Cancun is going through some things—namely, a big investment in its wellness and family spaces. Improvements will be made to its Family Oasis, and the property will add a Sports & Wellness Island, creating more space for your clients to add even more R&R to their vacation. Of note: This is the only resort in Cancun with three private beachfronts.

Club Med Cancun Upgrades and Renos

First up for the property’s upgrade is the creation of the Sports & Wellness Island, which is set to be completed by April of this year. This is an area where activity meets chill: The space will have a new palapa to host yoga with a view of the lagoon, plus archery, bocce ball, mini golf, multi-sport courts and even a Circus School by Club Med for budding gymnasts and contortionists.

The end of the year will welcome a dedicated Family Oasis and Children’s Clubs. These new builds will have a Mayan flavor to them and will be set up next to the pickleball courts and Aguamarina family section (this is the area with family suites, a dedicated pool, a kids’ bar and more). The current Kids Club is relocating next to this family area to make it easy for moms and dads to take their children to and fro. The really littles, ages four months to 23 months, can be safely left in the hands of the professionally-trained staff at the Baby Club Med. Kiddos will have access to nature, music workshops and painting… not to mention family activities like cooking classes, joint snack time, pool parties, and more. New facilities coming with the upgrade include a themed Splash Park, a Water Park, a Mini Pool and Playground, a Fun Zone and a Mini Cinema.

This upgrade will elevate the resort to the level of Club Med Punta Cana as one of the brand’s premium all-inclusive family properties.

Please note that resort will not close during the renovations.
