Margaritaville at Sea is focusing on expanding partnerships with travel advisors by appointing Frank Belzer, a business development expert, to a position as s.v.p. of sales & partner relations.

“With the addition of our second ship, the Islander, offering longer itineraries and new ports of call, we’re preparing to expand our reach by engaging trade partners, which will be very important associates to our business mix,” said Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, in a press statement. “Frank has an outstanding track record and exceptional credentials, making him ideally suited to lead this effort as part of our overall growth strategy.”

Belzer has worked in the tourism industry for the past 15 years, building up his experience in international marketing, business development and sales leadership. His previous position was as chief sales and marketing officer for ICON Park in Orlando, Florida; prior to that, he was s.v.p. of international sales and marketing for Universal Parks & Resorts.

“Throughout my career, I have focused on building effective, long-term relationships with travel advisors, with the passionate belief that a better understanding of consumer needs and mindsets is a strategic priority that improves every aspect of the sales and marketing process,” said Belzer in a press statement “That belief will guide our efforts with the trade industry as well, as we begin exploring new sales channels with travel advisors to bring the Margaritaville at Sea experience to a broader audience.”

Stay tuned because the new s.v.p. of sales & partner relations for Margaritaville at Sea, together with his team, is developing trade industry programs and options, seeking to introduce and implement them in the first quarter of 2024.

Margaritaville at Sea Paradise, the cruise line’s maiden vessel, currently takes cruise-goers from the Port of Palm Beach, Florida, on 2- and 3-night sailings to the Bahamas. The second ship, Margaritaville at Sea Islander, will sail from Port Tampa Bay in June 2024 on 4- or 5-night sailings with stops in Key West, Cozumel and Progreso.
