L’Auberge de Sedona, located in Arizona’s renowned Red Rock region, has completed a $30 million expansion and renovation project. The transformation introduces The Cliffs, a new room category featuring 70 updated guestrooms with panoramic views of the Red Rock mountains. This addition brings the resort’s total accommodations to 158 rooms.
“The introduction of The Cliffs marks an exciting milestone in the evolution of L’Auberge de Sedona, enhancing the experiences we offer while staying true to the character that makes this resort so special,” said Colm O’Brien, Regional Managing Director, in a press statement. “Whether travelers are visiting for adventure, relaxation or a deeper connection to our destination, every element of this transformation is designed to enhance their journey. Each accommodation at our resort offers a distinct experience—whether it’s an intimate Creekside Cottage, or the all-new elevated perspective of The Cliffs with Red Rock views, every L’Auberge de Sedona guest is invited to immerse themselves in the natural beauty, serenity and spirit of Sedona from a fresh new vantage point.”
A New Chapter for L’Auberge de Sedona
The Cliffs offers modern design with Southwest-inspired colors, king-sized beds, spa-inspired bathrooms with rain showers and private balconies or patios. Located near Uptown Sedona’s shops and attractions, it offers easy access to popular hiking trails, including Brins Mesa Trail, Adobe Jack Trailhead and Soldiers Pass.
The resort-wide enhancements include the new Duck Pond Pool, situated among the property’s cliffs and offering unobstructed views of the Red Rocks. The pool area features a heated pool, hot tub, private cabanas and a curated poolside menu.
Dining options have been expanded and refreshed. Cress on Oak Creek, the signature creekside restaurant, now has updated interiors and an expanded outdoor dining terrace. 89Agave Cantina has introduced a new in-room dining program, bringing authentic Mexican flavors to guests’ accommodations.
L’Apothecary Spa has evolved into a full-service wellness center, adding water therapies, floating sound healing, poolside yoga and an outdoor relaxation garden. The spa’s treatments are rooted in the healing power of earth, air, water and fire.
For events, the new Vista Overlook terrace provides a stunning backdrop with unobstructed views of the Red Rocks, making it an ideal setting for weddings and special occasions. Existing guestrooms have undergone updates, including new furnishings, locally inspired artwork and an updated color palette.
L’Auberge de Sedona has also joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Of note: To celebrate the transformation, L’Auberge de Sedona is offering a Bubbles & Bliss package. This special includes a chilled bottle of champagne and custom-crafted chocolates upon arrival, as well as nightly valet parking. Use the booking code BUBBLES for stays through Sept. 30, 2025.
