Pet travel is no longer niche; it’s a measurable and growing segment of the market. As more travelers factor their dogs into every trip decision, properties that go beyond a basic pet policy are worth knowing about.
Pets in the Big Apple
Hotel Seville NoMad, a recently renovated boutique property in New York City’s NoMad neighborhood, has introduced the Pawcation Offer, a package available for bookings and stays through Dec. 31, 2027.
The offer pairs pet-friendly perks with the hotel’s refreshed accommodations and neighborhood setting. Rather than simply making room for dogs, the package builds them into the stay from the start. Included amenities are:
- A curated pet kit featuring dog treats, a dedicated water bowl and a plush dog bed from FUZI Pets, a luxury pet furniture brand known for durable, functional and modern designs for pets and their owners
- Pastry and coffee for two from Bourke Street Bakery, an Australian-born organic sourdough concept, for a relaxed morning start
- Complimentary late checkout at 1 p.m.
Rates for accommodations and the Pawcation Offer start at $700 per night.

Pets in Provence
Coquillade Provence, a five-star estate in France’s Luberon, has launched Companions Welcome, a dog-specific program built around in-room dining, private pools and 104 acres of estate trails.
Companions Welcome opens with a VIP arrival kit: a pet basket, plush bone, water and food bowls and organic treats from LILA LOVES IT, a German pet care brand. Higher room categories include a calming spray and a Coquillade Provence scarf; select suites add private doggy pools. A dedicated set of estate maps charts the most scenic routes through the property’s vineyards and forest paths.
The program’s centerpiece is the K9 Sommelier menu, served via in-room VIP Room Service. Each dish is formulated around canine nutritional needs and developed using the same kitchen standards used for human guests. The opening lineup:
- Chicken & Garden Vegetables Bowl: chicken emince with seasonal vegetables and rice
- Beef Provencal Bowl: slow-cooked beef with vegetables and herbs adapted for canine nutrition
- Turkey & Rice Healthy Bowl: rice and vegetables formulated for easy digestion
Rates start at $340 per night; suites from $840.

Juniper Preserve, Golf & Wellness Resort
Bend, Oregon, AKA “Dog Town USA,” and Juniper Preserve, Golf & Wellness Resort, set just outside the city, has structured an offering that takes full advantage of that identity. The Dog-Friendly Stay Package requires a 2-night minimum and is available at Juniper Lodge and the resort’s Vacation Rentals.
Inclusions cover the basics and then some:
- Welcome treats and a travel dog bowl upon arrival
- Curated maps identifying nearby trails and off-leash areas
- Pet fee included in the package rate
The mapped-out trail options are a genuinely useful addition—guests arrive with a working guide to Central Oregon’s outdoor options rather than piecing that information together on their own.
The resort’s location does the rest. Juniper Preserve sits within easy reach of miles of open terrain suited to early-morning hikes, long walks and slower afternoons spent outdoors.
