The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced details for its upcoming travel industry event, The Summit, scheduled for Oct. 14–16, 2026, at the Sheraton Downtown Denver.
The Summit features a dual-track format with two dedicated programs—Corporate Ascent and Leisure & Luxury Ascent—targeting distinct segments of the travel advisor and supplier communities.
“The Summit is designed for travel leaders who understand the value of being in the right room with the right people,” said Zane Kerby, President and CEO of ASTA, in a statement. “This event brings together the executives, agency leaders and partners driving the industry forward. When your peers are here, when the conversations shaping what comes next are happening here, this becomes a gathering you simply cannot afford to miss.”
Dual-Track Programming for Corporate and Leisure Travel
The Leisure & Luxury Ascent builds on ASTA’s Premium Business Summit and will focus on the leisure travel sector. Programming will cover client demand, emerging travel trends, business growth strategies and the evolving role of travel advisors.
The Corporate Ascent builds on ASTA’s former Corporate Travel Executive Forum and is designed for corporate travel buyers, Travel Management Company (TMC) executives and supplier partners. Sessions will address topics including airline distribution, commercial strategy and shifting traveler expectations.
Confirmed speakers include Bob Somers, Senior VP of Global Sales at Delta Air Lines, who will provide a perspective on corporate travel trends.
Speaker Lineup and Industry Representation
Additional confirmed speakers include Jennifer Steinke of Moderna, Michael Linenberg of Deutsche Bank, Sam Gilliland of Accelya and Denby Bruzas of Spotnana.
ASTA said the combined programming will also create opportunities for crossover discussions between corporate and leisure sectors, focusing on shared challenges and broader industry trends.
Networking and Destination-Based Experiences
In addition to business sessions, the event will include networking activities and off-site experiences in the Denver area. Planned excursions include Red Rocks Reset, a guided experience focused on networking and wellness, and The Summit Classic, a golf outing at a private course.
The event will also feature scheduled networking functions, including a welcome reception and group dining experiences designed to facilitate connections among attendees. Registration for The Summit is now open.
