Families and adults looking for a multi-sport travel adventure should consider a trip with Austin Adventures, which now offers a 6-day Montana Vacation package. This itinerary takes guests on adventures outside of Yellowstone National Park, while also dipping inside park boundaries for must-sees such as Old Faithful.
Travelers will also explore river-carved Gallatin Canyon, the mountainous Paradise Valley, and Upper Geyser Basin, home to the largest collection of geysers in the world, as well as the Grand Canyon, the Lower Falls of Yellowstone, Yellowstone Lake, and Mammoth Hot Springs.
On this itinerary guests can expect to hike two to six miles on easy to difficult terrain, including a track to a U-shaped glacial cirque in Big Sky’s secluded backcountry and a hike to the rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.
