The Sandals Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, made its largest toy drive to date, delivering 45,000 toys to children across nine Caribbean destinations where the resort brands operate.

Supported by toy industry partners Spin Master, Jazwares and The Toy Foundation, the annual initiative continues the Foundation’s long-standing mission to support Caribbean communities during the holidays.

Holiday Giving Across the Caribbean

This year’s toy deliveries are reaching children in Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia, The Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, Grenada, Barbados, Curacao and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The donated toys range from puzzles, games and creative play kits to plush toys designed to provide comfort and emotional connection.

Focus on Jamaica and Post-Storm Recovery

Jamaica remains a focal point of this year’s efforts, with 18,000 toys delivered across the island. In Whitehouse, Westmoreland—an area still recovering from Hurricane Melissa—the Sandals Foundation partnered with team members from Sandals South Coast to host a community holiday celebration for more than 400 children.

The event combined traditional holiday festivities with psychosocial support programming, developed in partnership with Sesame Workshop, using familiar Sesame Street characters to help children process emotions and build coping skills following the storm. The day concluded with the distribution of toys to local families.

Since its launch more than a decade ago, the Sandals Foundation’s holiday toy drive has distributed over 170,000 toys throughout the region. The toy drive accompanies the Foundation’s broader work in education, youth development, environmental stewardship and cultural preservation—areas that remain central to Sandals’ community-based tourism model.
